Restore Funding for Catholic Schools
Because
the State Education Department changed the original Comprehensive
Attendance Policy (CAP) reimbursement formula, religious and
independent schools across the state are being cheated out of
approximately $15 million. During these final weeks of budget
negotiations, lawmakers have an opportunity to restore the original CAP
formula, thereby ensuring that Catholic schools are reimbursed for
their actual costs in complying with CAP. Please email the Governor
