Office of Advancement
The
community of Albertus Magnus is fascinating, complex and thriving.
Students, alumni, faculty, parents, Dominican Sisters, and the business
community are brought together at the intersection of 304 and Germonds
Road in Bardonia with a shared vision--the success of Albertus Magnus
High School. Each group brings unique gifts that are intricately woven
into the fabric of life at Albertus.
The
main function of the Office of Advancement is to identify, foster and
develop relationships that generate support and enthusiasm for Albertus
Magnus, and coordinate these efforts for maximum results. We achieve
these goals through a variety of revenue and non-revenue programs
designed to generate financial support and volunteers. Working closely
with the Administration, Directors of Admissions, Alumni and Athletics,
along with Parents' Club, we provide a variety of special events,
fundraising initiatives, and spiritual activities throughout the school
year.
The
Office of Advancement believes that every volunteer or donation is
precious. Our volunteer network of parents and alumni assist with
planning and management of special events, corporate solicitation for
donations and stewardship of the Annual Fund. Fundraising is essential
to meet operating expenses and expand student programs; the dedicated
volunteers of Albertus Magnus High School make our fundraising
objectives a reality. We couldn't do this without them!
We look
forward to working with you and encourage you to get involved with the
programs, events and activities at Albertus. It is truly a special
place where faith, cooperation, and service co-exist with learning and
life-long friendships.
