About Our School

President's Welcome

As the president, I am honored to share with you how the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill core values of Prayer, Study, Community, and Service are at the heart of everything we do at Albertus. These values make it a truly exceptional school.

Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year at Albertus Magnus, home of the Falcons!

As a daily reminder, these core values are engraved in the Rotunda of our school. However, they are not merely words; they are put into action everyday through the efforts of our dedicated faculty and staff, the commitment of our community and the spirit of the girls and boys.

Albertus is a more than a four-year high school experience. It is like being part of a family with participation that spans a lifetime. It begins with building solid relationships and performing service while at Albertus but continues through generations of active alums. Albertus faculty are committed to the academic, spiritual, and emotional growth of each student. On a daily basis they model our core values and help create a caring and supportive school community that is rooted in the mission, so that every student feels valued and respected.

The academic experience at Albertus is second to none. We set high academic expectations for all of our students and provide a nurturing environment along with academic support to ensure their success. We educate the whole person so that they may become active leaders in our global society.

I invite you to explore this website to gain a deeper understanding of Albertus Magnus High School. You will see that community, spirit, active learning, prayer, student leadership, service to others, athletic excellence, and participation in our global society permeate the school and support our mission as a Catholic school for young women and men in the tradition of the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill.
