About Our School

Principal's Welcome

Welcome to the 2019 – 2020 school year at Albertus Magnus High School. We look forward to soaring into 2020 with a unique stride!

As we continue in our school’s Mission that is built around the four pillars of the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill – Prayer, Study, Community, and Service – we look forward to an exciting and productive school year. The faculty, staff, administration, parents and students look forward to working together towards making the 2019-2020 academic year another great success.

Our college-preparatory program stretches the mind and develops the character of its students.  Students belong to a devoted community of faculty, administration and peers who work collectively to do better and be better.   Our challenging academic program contains many college level and advanced courses.  Our curriculum promotes independent thinking skills and collaborative learning in our students.

The Albertus community is what sets itself apart from other schools. Relationships are built and continue between families, students, and alumnae that span a lifetime. Our qualified and dedicated faculty, many of which are alumni, are dedicated to each student’s success. Their care and support of students is consistent with our mission of students feeling valued and respected.

Please explore our website to gain a deeper understanding of what sets Albertus Magnus High School apart.  It evidences the sense of community, academic excellence, prayer and service to others which permeates our school and which supports our Catholic school mission in the tradition of the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill.
