Sixty-five years ago, the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill had the vision to create a faith-filled, dynamic, academically rigorous Catholic coed high school in Rockland County. They planned, prepared, and executed on that vision, and today, standing on the shoulders of giants, we continue their legacy. Forever rooted in the Dominican Pillars of Prayer, Study, Community, and Service, the Albertus Magnus student continues to thrive in the classroom, on the field or stage, and as a leader within the community. Since 1957, Albertus Magnus has remained synonymous with fAMily: distinguished by our students, faculty and staff, parents, and alumni. It truly is a unique and amazing place. This evening, we honor a few members of this fAMily in Bill, Dan, Robert, and One to One Learning; humbled and blessed for their dedicated years of service to Albertus Magnus and the community. Congratulations!
This special evening is a time for gratitude, celebration, and a perfect occasion to continue once again to pay a little bit forward. Each year Albertus Magnus invests in our students by providing nearly $700,000 in academic scholarship and tuition assistance. So tonight, together, let’s help build a bigger fAMily. Every dollar raised during our 65th Anniversary Gala will help a young person become a Falcon for Life and ensure that they can also experience the mission and vision that the Dominican Sisters began sixty-five years ago. Built on Faith and together as one fAMily, Albertus is Bound for Excellence.
