Capital Campaign

$1.8 Million

Our Goal

over $700,000

Donations to Date
Capital Campaign for a school like Albertus is used to raise money for a major project that is too expensive to include in the school’s Fiscal Year budget.
Examples of such projects can include replacing old windows, adding a new wing of classrooms, building a theater, renovating athletic facilities, or building an endowment. In these cases, schools will run a Campaign to raise money for the project. Campaigns usually run for at least one year and often more.

In order to remove the old track and grass field and replace them with a state-of-the-art track and turf field, we borrowed $1,800,000.

We are now running a Track and Field Capital Campaign to repay the debt. This Campaign is in the second year of a five year plan to pay back the loan. To date, we have raised over $700,000 in contributions and pledges.

We are seeking donors at $50,000 ($10K each year for 5 years) or $10,000 ($2K for five years). If you are able to make a gift to the campaign and be a part of the virtual plaque (below), please click the donate now button to complete your pledge.

Once we reach our goal of 20 $50K donors and 100 at the $10K level, a permanent plaque will be installed at the field to commemorate the donors who made the track and field a reality for Albertus. Thank you!

  • Our Shared History

Albertus Magnus High School officially opened to students in September 1957. For the first 13 years of the school’s existence Falcon athletes participating in cross country, baseball, soccer or track and field practiced in the AM parking lot, or in a cleared space in the woods beside the school. Even when they were listed as the home team, Albertus went to other venues in the county for meets and games.
