Michael Dunne ‘17 was one of 23 students from SUNY Oneonta's School of Economics and Business who were inducted into the college's Beta Gamma Sigma honor society chapter during a recognition ceremony in April. Only the best business students in the world, and the professionals who earned the distinction of "the Best in Business" during their academic careers, can claim membership in Beta Gamma Sigma. Students ranking in the top 10 percent of the baccalaureate and top 20 percent of graduate programs at schools accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business are eligible for this invitation. He also competed on the 2019 SUNY Oneonta baseball team during the recently completed spring season. The Red Dragons finished with an overall record of 18-20 and 6-12 in the SUNYAC this season. Oneonta qualified for the SUNYAC Tournament for the first time since 2014. Mike finished the season with ten appearances, including three starts for the Red Dragons. He struck out 14 batters is 23.2 innings pitched. Mike, a junior studying Professional Accounting, was also named to the Spring 2019 Deans List.
