Congratulations to Assistant Head of School, Chris Power!
To commemorate March being Irish Heritage Month, Rockland County District Attorney Tom Walsh recognized two outstanding Irish-American law enforcement officers from Rockland County for police service as well as community service.
The Noel O’Connell Award for Outstanding Community Service by a Member of the Law Enforcement Community is presented annually and is named in memory of Noel O’Connell, an Irish immigrant, who devoted much of his time and efforts to supporting his community and making Rockland County a great place to raise a family. Noel passed away in 2020. The award memorializes a great Rockland resident who lived their lives dedicated to family and community.
Our very own, Christopher Power, retired NYPD Detective Sergeant, as an Irish-American member of law enforcement who stands out for his dedication to community service in Rockland County was one of two recipients this year who was awarded the Noel O’Connell Award for Outstanding Community Service by a Member of the Law Enforcement Community.
Congratulations to Chris and his family on this very special honor. Go Falcons!
