Michael R. McNamara Baseball Infield Dedication Ceremony!
The dedication and blessing of the Michael R. McNamara field was held on May 5th prior to the Varsity baseball game. The McNamara family and extended family attended the ceremony.
Their support, as well as the support of many alumni and parents, made the Michael R. McNamara Baseball Infield a reality. Fr. Baker of St Francis blessed the field after opening comments by Head of School Joe Tweed on the importance of the AM community to the success of Albertus. Joe D'Urso, class of 1982 played an adapted version of Centerfield to honor the occasion. Mr. McNamara (Michael's father) and Michael's son, Steven, threw out the first pitch. Many former alumni players attended the dedication that was followed by a reception. Albertus defeated Nyack 3-1. #LEAD#SERVE#INSPIRE#fAMily#onceaFalconalwaysaFalcon
