Albertus Magnus welcomes Rebecca Mills, our new Director of College and Student Counseling
Mrs. Rebecca Mills joins Albertus Magnus High School with over 10 years of counseling experience.
As a Rockland County resident, she knew of the #fAMily atmosphere and strong community of faculty, staff, parents and alumni at Albertus Magnus. As the Director of College and School Counseling, Mrs. Mills and team will offer a personalized student experience that cultivates self-knowledge, taking ownership and making informed choices. At Albertus Magnus High School, college preparation is a four year journey, starting with Freshman year classes focusing on time management, coping with stress and personal and college goals to Senior year and essay writing, mock interviews and FAFSA. Mrs. Mills, “I look forward to meeting all the students and their families in the next few weeks and working together to ensure happiness and success.”
Mr. Joe Tweed, Head of School, adds “We are excited to welcome Mrs. Mills to Albertus. Her passion for student success, deep understanding of the social-emotional needs of teenagers, and knowledge of the college process were evident from our first meeting. I am confident that her innovative leadership and welcoming personality will make our students feel known and valued.”
