He finished as the school’s all‑time points leader and earned honors including 1st Team All‑State, State Championship MVP, Rockland County Player of the Year, and Rockland County Athlete of the Season.
Kyle continued his athletic career at SUNY Oneonta, winning the SUNYAC title and earning Rookie of the Year and 1st Team All‑Conference recognition. He then transferred to St. John’s University, where the Red Storm won the Big East League (2008), reached the NCAA Final Four, and won the Big East Tournament (2009). Kyle captained the team as a senior and graduated from St. John’s in 2011.
