Program History
The Albertus Magnus Football Team competes in the highly regarded Section 1 Football Conference. In this venue, the team competes not only against the top teams in our area, but also against the best teams in the state. Recently, the team won the 2017 Section 1 Class B Championship and advanced to the State Quarterfinal. The team were also League Champions in 2017 and 2007.

Coaches
Varsity Interim Head Coach Leo Pamphile enters his second year on staff at Albertus. Prior to being named the Interim Head Coach, he spent the previous year as the Defensive Coordinator at Albertus. A former standout at Alfred University, Coach Pamphile contributed to the program’s 2016 Empire 8 Championship and NCAA Division III Elite Eight appearance. As a 2019 team captain, he earned All-Conference honors, multiple Defensive Player of the Week recognitions, and was twice awarded the Bob Carley Memorial Award – a team honor given to the player who best demonstrates outstanding attitude, discipline, and work ethic. He was also named Empire 8 Sportsman of the Year and was a two-time member of the President’s List for academic achievement.
