Class of 2026 extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist
Campus Ministry
Six members of the Class of 2026 were mandated by Msgr. Nevin to serve as extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist for the Albertus Magnus High School community.
On Thursday, May 29, the Albertus Magnus High School community gathered for the celebration of Mass for the feast of the Ascension. Msgr. Nevin ’65 was the celebrant. In his homily, Monsignor spoke about the idea of “Going Home”. On this feast of the Ascension, we celebrate Jesus’ going home to be with his Father, and his instruction to his disciples to “Go into the whole world to proclaim the gospel to every creature.” Today we receive this same instruction with the knowledge that we have received the gifts of the Holy Spirit to assist us in spreading the Good News of the Gospel.
Before the conclusion of Mass, six members of the Class of 2026 were mandated by Msgr. Nevin to serve as extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist for the Albertus Magnus High School community. We congratulate the following students and thank them for accepting the invitation to serve the Albertus community at our monthly school Masses: Andrew Castillo, Elizabeth Guzman, Grace Needham, Isabel Parra, Riley Scholl, and Matteo Zottoli.
