Casino Night
Dear AM Families,
We hope you are well and handling these challenging times. The last few months have made us all aware of the importance of health and family. The AMPA traditionally leads a Spring event to bring us together to celebrate and support Albertus Magnus. This year, on May 22nd, 7pm, we are hopeful that we can once again gather together to support our school at an outside Casino Night Under the Stars event, following all COVID safety guidelines. Our hope is that you can join us and if you are not comfortable doing so, we hope that you will support this Albertus event in other ways.
At this time, the AM Parent Association is requesting your help in the below areas:
- Donate an item from our gift registry to help us fill our tricky tray baskets. You can purchase a gift online, use your coupons or Kohls cash, and have the item delivered to the school, attention Development Office. Contactless option! Gift Items are needed by April 15th.
- Visit our sign up genius for an item to donate and drop off at Main Office marked “Casino Night”. Please sign up to purchase an item. All items are due to Main Office by April 15th.
- Ask your favorite local restaurants and businesses to donate gift cards to be included in our auction baskets. Please send in your donations to the Main Office marked "Casino Night" by April 15th.
- Get Involved~ at whatever your level of availability permits~ to pick up donated items in your town, wrap baskets, or help with event set-up. Contact any of us if you would like to volunteer to support this event.
- Join us on May 22nd and have fun supporting your school!!!
It is important for all families to know that the spring fundraiser is important for two main reasons. The event has always been an opportunity for parents/guardians to get together to celebrate Albertus and build community amongst our families. It is also our largest and most important event to raise funds for our children’s school and we rely on our entire school community to make it a success. The funds raised are used to cover academic and extracurricular programs at Albertus that tuition does not cover. For many years the families of AM have supported the Spring event and we are counting on each of our current families to contribute in some way again this Spring.
Over the coming weeks, we will be sharing opportunities to be an event sponsor, place an ad in our event journal, buy a 50/50, and how to buy tickets to attend the event on May 22. Stay tuned for more information about this fun and important event for our children’s school.
