    Light the Torch Gala

    Town & Country, Congers, New York
    This year, the annual Light the Torch Gala is on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Town & Country in Congers, New York. 

    This signature event is celebrating 69 years of the Mission and Vision of Albertus Magnus High School.  We honor these individuals whose leadership, generosity and service exemplify our Dominican values of Prayer, Study, Community and Service.

    Senior Exams

    Seniors who do not meet the exemption requirements for final exams will be required to sit
    for the final examinations. Seniors who are not scheduled to take finals will not be required to
    be in attendance Monday May 18th.

    Alumni Induction for the Class of 2026

    Seniors will gather for breakfast in the Tom Collins gymnasium. Breakfast will be served, and the students will be addressed by an Alumni who will welcome them into the Albertus Magnus Alumni Association. All seniors are required to bring their laptop computers. All students will be in full uniform. Following the breakfast, seniors will have time to have their shirts signed as is a tradition each year. The day will also include a special senior slide show. (Mandatory Attendance)

    Senior Trip to Yankee Game

    All Seniors are invited to join us for our Yankee game outing; 7:05 game vs the Blue Jays.  Tickets and transportation provided by Albertus.  Buses will leave AM @ 5:00pm.  

    Class of 2026 Parent Reception

    Parents are invited to celebrate the Class of 2026 at the Parent Reception on Tuesday, May 19th from 6:00 - 7:30 pm.

    Graduation Rehearsal/Senior Class BBQ

    Seniors will report to the gymnasium where graduation protocol will be reviewed, caps and gowns will be distributed. In addition, graduation invitations and tickets will be distributed. Each graduate will be allotted six guests.  This will be followed by our senior barbeque and Field Day. (Mandatory Attendance)

    Sophomore Trip to NYC

    Baccalaureate Mass

    Parents and graduates are invited to attend the Baccalaureate Mass at St. Francis of Assisi (128 Parrott Rd, West Nyack, NY ) which will be followed by academic and athletic achievement awards. (Mandatory Attendance)
