Jen Wassmer, '90!
In early July Jen Wassmer, Art Teacher at Albertus Magnus High School was notified by the New York State Art Teacher Association that she was chosen to be the New York State Art Teacher of the Year for High School for Region 7 which includes Rockland, Orange, Sullivan, Ulster, Putnam, Dutchess, and Westchester Counties. She was nominated by Peggy O'Hara (Clarkstown Art Teacher/Retire) and Maria Brownsell (E. Ramapo Art Teacher/Former Albertus Art Teacher). She will be recognized at the state conference in Binghamton in November 2023.
