The Girls Varsity Soccer teAM are 2025 Class AA New York State chAMpions!
The Albertus Magnus Girls Soccer Program has a rich history of success on the field and in the classroom for over 30 years. During that time the Lady Falcons won 16 Section Championships and 4 State Championships. Most recently, the Lady Falcons won the 2025 & 2024 Class AA NY State Championship, as well as the 2022 Class A NY State Championship. In each of the last ten years the Lady Falcons have received the NYSPHSAA Scholar-Athlete Team award which means that over 75% of the roster holds a gpa of over 90. The Lady Falcons have also held a top 25 National Ranking in each of the last 6 years while being ranked as high as #2 in the Country.

High School All-American Game: Senior Captains Teigan Cunnane and Mary Kate DeBono were selected to represent the East team. Head Coach Danny Samimi was selected to be the Coach for the East team.
Coach Danny Samimi, the second longest serving coach in our Program History has amassed a career record of 162-18-15. Finishing his tenth season as Head Varsity Coach and having assembled one of the best coaching staffs in the country, the Lady Falcons have won 3 State Championship, 5 Section I Championships and 8 League Championships. Coach Samimi has been named New York State Coach of the Year in 2020, 2022 & 2024, while also being a National Coach of the Year Finalist in 2022 & 2024. He has also been named League Coach of the Year 8 times (2016, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025). In 2025, Coach Samimi was selected to be the Head Coach for the Girls Soccer HS All-American Game. He holds a USSF National C Coaching License and a bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware.
