Pathways allow students to explore a concentrated area of study beginning in their sophomore year. Throughout their high school experience, students will have the option to take certain courses, participate in activities, and engage in enrichment opportunities aligned with their chosen pathway.
Students interested in entering a pathway will complete a brief application during the spring of their freshman year. Those accepted will begin their pathway at the start of their sophomore year.
Throughout the program, students may participate in the following:
- One pathway-specific speaker event per year
- One pathway-specific field trip per year
- Optional Capstone Project during senior year (subject to approval)
- Recognition on their final transcript
- A special graduation cord
- Recognition at the Senior Baccalaureate Mass
These opportunities are designed not only to deepen academic understanding but also to build real-world skills, encourage leadership, and provide valuable experiences that support college readiness.
Why Pathways Matter:
Our goal is to ensure that every student discovers their passions both inside and outside the classroom. By following a pathway, students gain early exposure to potential college majors and career interests while developing confidence, purpose, and direction.
